Compton Hospice

A place to find shelter on the most difficult part of life’s journey – offering a helping hand, a listening ear, and the caring support of people who understand
Compton Hospice has been providing the best in palliative care to patients facing a life-limiting illness, and their families, for more than a quarter-of-a-century.
Their purpose is to make a difference to people’s lives when their illness is no longer curable, adding life to years rather than years to life.
They do this by treating the people, not just their conditions, through thier in- patient and community care facilities, medical and holistic treatments and support services.
They philosophy is to support thier patients emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, as well as easing their physical symptoms, to help them live fulfilling lives at home for as long as possible.
Although end of life care remains an important part of what they do, they offer so much more and can make real improvements to thier patients’ quality of life, and that of their families, so they can make the most of their time together.
Thier services are available free-of-charge to a catchment area of 1.3 million people from communities across the Black Country, including Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, South Staffordshire and East Shropshire.
